SIRIUS Satellite Radio has launched a new portable MP3 player with a Portable Satellite Radio Tuner called Sirius S50. This will be Sirius' flagship receiver for Christmas time.
The Portable Satellite Radio Receiver Sirius S50 allows users to capture and store up to 50 hours of SIRIUS content, or a mix of SIRIUS programming and MP3/WMA files, enabling listening on the go.

The AirWare Portable Satellite Radio comes with several of the accessories you need to transfer between your car and home stereos and other areas that you want to receive satellite radio. Home and car cradles provide docks for this XM Satellite Radio Portable and let you make the necessary power and signal connections to bring your portable satellite radio to a docked position.
The Pioneer AirWare Portable Satellite Radio features a belt clip, a protective case, and a set of earphones in the package to add to your personal portable satellite radio receiver experience.
One of the great things about the Airware is that when you are in your car you can mount the AirWare Portable Satellite Radio Receiver in the best place for you on your dashboard or center console with the included hardware. One of the easiest ways to play XM is through your car's FM stereo and use the Pioneer AirWare's wireless FM transmitter. If your car stereo has an auxiliary input, you can also use an optional audio cable to connect the AirWare Portable Satellite Radio directly and get the best sound. A cassette adapter is also included if you choose to use it.
When you are at home, the included audio patch cable allows you plug the satellite radio directly into your stereo's input. The desktop cradle holds the Pioneer AirWare in a convenient spot. A signal-strength meter will help you to position the indoor/outdoor satellite radio antenna so that you can find the perfect place for your satellite radio receiver.
A few of the great features to this portable radio include recording content - with the press of a button you can store up to five hours of XM satellite radio content, then play it back anytime you like ? a single button lets you toggle between "Live" and "Memory" modes. This is great when you want to listen to XM content in an area where the satellite signal is potentially blocked. However there are many repeaters in many of the larger cities, which may help your signal strength ? nonetheless, this feature is great anytime for satellite radio enthusiasts!
One of the wonderful things about this XM satellite radio portable AirWare receiver is a feature called the TuneSelect. This feature alerts you anytime one of up to 20 of them is playing anywhere on XM radio. Even better - the AirWare receiver will also save the names and artists of up to 20 more songs (no alerts), so you'll remember them next time you want to purchase a CD or want to download a song. Presets on this satellite radio receiver are of course a must, to get to your favorite channels quickly, you can also store up to 30 of them as presets.
Like many other XM Satellite Radio Receivers, the 6-line display shows you song, artist, and channel information, and gives you options for browsing through XM content. You can also set up scrolling InfoExtras, such as a customizable stock ticker or sports scores.
